African Network of Adolescents and Young People’s Development (ANAYD) is a regional organizationworking for Adolescents and Young Persons (which include adolescents living with HIV, young key populations and young people with special needs) both infected or affected with HIV, Tuberculosis and Malaria.It was form 2015 in Nigeria, but properly inaugurated on the 29th September 2017.
To see an Africa where the rights, welfare and interests of adolescents and young people(which include adolescents living with HIV, young key populations and young people with special needs) are assured and protected, and the larger society is protected from the spread of health related diseases.
To lead the effort of mitigating the physical, psychosocial and economic impact of HIV, Tuberculosis, Malaria and other health related infections among adolescents and young people(which include adolescents living with HIV, young key populations and young people with special needs) through information sharing, education, advocacy, capacity building and economic empowerment.
To ensure greater and meaning involvement of adolescents and young people (which include adolescents living with HIV, young key populations and young people with special needs) in policy formulation, decision making, governance, program design, development, implementations, monitoring and evaluation at all levels.
